Filtration Ltd

A specialist in supplying filters of all shapes and sizes to a range of industries, Filtration Ltd has played a key role in reducing pollution and helping clients meet their environmental obligations for over 30 years.

The company offers a selection of over 5,000 high quality filters used in vehicles, machinery and systems in areas such as construction, power generation, pharmaceuticals, transport, chemical processing, agriculture, food and beverages and more.

GreenCode Accreditation has been attained through a range of measures Filtration Ltd has implemented internally. The company has in place a continuously updated environmental policy that outlines its aims across waste, energy and water consumption, transport, procurement, maintenance and cleaning.

Filtration Ltd’s company culture involves staff at all levels in the implementation of its sustainability initiatives, relevant environmental training is provided, and the company works with its suppliers, contractors and subcontractors seeking improved environmental performance. Environmental factors are incorporated into all business decisions and policies.

Meanwhile, the products Filtration Ltd supplies are integral to the clean running of thousands of client businesses. Its products remove contaminants from industrial processes, exhaust gasses, internal air circulation systems and during the processing of materials for safer end products.

Filters remove bacterial and particulate pollutants in water systems and, where remedial action is being taken due to past pollution, filters are used to remove contaminants from soil, water and air, restoring areas to their natural state.

In a sense, GreenCode has acted as a filter, helping Filtration Ltd identify and rectify any sustainability issues that were getting through, thereby achieving GreenCode membership.

The accreditation procedure has helped us uncover new ways to improve and we’ve benefitted greatly just by engaging with the process. Companies, large and small, have the obligation to act responsibly and this will give us further encouragement to continue our work.

-Nathan Reed, Operations Director, Filtration Ltd
