Bio-Circle UK
Bio-Circle UK Ltd is on a mission to change the way its customers clean surfaces, parts, tools and machinery by introducing products and systems that are more sustainable, better for the health and wellbeing of employees and that lower costs.
Cleaning equipment and fluids manufactured by Bio-Circle are used across a range of industries. Rail, freight, automotive and aerospace operators clean and maintain engines using Bio-Circle products, but the company also supplies engineering, construction, 3D printing, plastics and food production businesses.
Alongside supplying greener, more efficient cleaning systems, Bio-Circle has demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by achieving Green tier GreenCode Accreditation. In the same way that it enables customers to reduce waste, pollution, water use and energy consumption, Bio-Circle has applied sustainable principles internally, with staff and management leading green initiatives over a long period of time.
The company first implemented an integrated environmental management system in 1996 – long before many of its competitors – and has continually updated its approach to sustainability. Most of the energy used at its manufacturing facility in Germany is generated on site as the company applies its ‘make green work’ philosophy across its activities.
For its customers, Bio-Circle develops cleaning systems that: use renewable materials where possible; replace volatile solvents with aqueous cleaners; lower operating temperatures in mechanical and manual cleaning solutions to save energy; and reduce water consumption. Its ‘no label’ target for cleaning products is removing hazardous materials, which cuts pollution and means that some waste chains can be eliminated at client businesses.
For us, sustainability means taking responsibility for our corporate and social activities as well as for all environmental issues.
